Butler started shooting The Stranger Within, a psychological thriller starring Estella Warr and William Baldwin on Mallorca in Spain in November of 2011. She joined the cast in Los Angeles of Treachery, which starred Michael Biehn. Filming began in Los Angeles on June 12, 2012.
